Location. The four storey Maria Luisa Hotel is housed in a traditional building with classical design features, and is located in the historic centre of the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. Boris's Garden is 100 metres from the hotel and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is one kilometre away. Sofia Airport is ten kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Maria Luisa Hotel houses an informal lounge bar and offers a buffet breakfast each morning. Staff at the 24 hour front desk are on hand to exchange currency, provide room service (limited hours) and look after valuables in the safe deposit box. The air conditioned public areas are equipped with high speed Internet access. Other amenities include dry cleaning services, express check in/out and a porter on hand to assist with luggage.
The Maria Luisa Restaurant serves Bulgarian specialities and international dishes in a traditional setting.
Guestrooms. The 20 guestrooms over four floors feature light pastel decor, traditional furnishings and fitted carpets, and open onto balconies. Expert Tip. Visit Boris' Garden, which dates back to the late 19th century and is a popular spot for the citizens of Sofia. The parkland incorporates Vasil Levski Stadium, the home ground of the Bulgarian national football team.
