Set in a turn of the century townhouse, the Hopper Hotel St Antonius is tucked down a quiet residential street in Cologne, Germany, 800 metres from the cathedral and Philharmonie concert hall. The hotel is within one kilometre of the Old Town and River Rhine. Cologne Bonn Konrad Airport (CGN) is 20 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Built in 1905, the red and grey brick Hopper Hotel St Antonius fuses traditional architecture with modern facilities. The contemporary lobby is decked out with grey slate, cacti and photographs.
Characterised by dark wood floors and arches, L Fritz Restaurant has an international menu, and serves complimentary breakfast. In summer, guests can dine alfresco in the cobbled courtyard, which is candlelit at night.

From Cologne Bonn Konrad Airport (CGN):
Distance to Hopper Hotel St. Antonius is 20 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. High speed trains and the regional S Bahn run between the airport railway station and Cologne Hauptbahnhof (central station) every 30 minutes. The fare for a single ticket is 2.10 EUR, and the journey time is 18 minutes. The number 170 bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof and Cologne city centre five times an hour. The fare is 5 EUR for a single ticket. Taxis wait outside Terminals 1 and 2, and cost about 25 EUR to central Cologne and 40 EUR to Bonn. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Hopper Hotel St. Antonius is on Dagobertstrasse, one kilometre from the Old Town and River Rhine. The centre of Cologne can be easily explored by foot. Schildergasse, Hohe Strasse and Breite Strasse are pedestrianised and most main attractions are located around the Altstadt, on the left bank of the Rhine. A transferable ticket (VRS) entitles travellers to use all transport facilities, including the underground, buses, trams, and RB (RegionalBahn), RE (RegionalExpress) and S (S Bahn) trains. Train only tickets can also be purchased. Both types of tickets can be purchased from vending machines at the city's train stations. Only VRS tickets can be bought from tram, bus and underground stops. Guests can use the adjacent underground car park (surcharge).
