Built in 1989, the Dimitrion Hotel is a modern property situated in the center of Hersonissos town, 150 meters from a sandy beach, and 25 kilometers from the Cretan capital. Guestrooms are simply decorated and furnished with tiled floors and dark wood furniture; all come with air conditioning and balconies.
The hotel has its own bar which offers a casual atmosphere in a light and modern setting. Additionally, the hotel restaurant serves up Greek and international cuisine in an informal atmosphere, and is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Guests can also relax by the hotel pool or on the sun terrace during the day. For the active visitor, the beach offers jet skiing and parasailing or the inland mountains are great for a jeep safari. For those interested in the traditional Cretan life style, a visit to the Lychnostatis Open air Historical Museum, 3 kilometers from the hotel, comes highly recommended. Heraklion Airport is 25 kilometers away and taxis cost around 25.

FROM AIRPORT IRAKLION TAKE THE NEW NATIONAL ROAD IN THE DIRECTION OF AGIOS NIKOLAOS. TAKE THE SECOND EXIT,KATO GOUVES, AND FOLLOW THE ROAD ROUND TO THE RIGHT. STAY ON THIS ROAD FOR 8KM UNTIL REACHING THE TOWN OF HERSONISSOS. FOLLOW THE MAIN ROAD THROUGH THE TOWN AND YOU WILL FIND DIMITRION HOTEL ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD, ABOUT 800M AFTER ENTERING THE TOWN.
