The Alea Hotel and Studios is a modern, family run property situated in the Ialyssos town center in Greece, just 200 meters from the sandy beach. The town center shops, restaurants and bars are just steps away from the hotel. Guests can go hiking on Mount Filerimos, located two kilometers away, or visit the historic capital city, Rhodes Town, which sits five kilometers away and features a museum, ruins and Turkish shopping district. The beautiful Petaloudes (valley of the butterflies) can be found seven kilometers away, and Rhodes Diagoras Airport lies 10 kilometers from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 10 minutes.
After a swim in the pool, guests can enjoy snacks in the shade under parasols at the poolside bar or go indoors to use the on site Internet. Kids are kept happy thanks to a children's pool. Other amenities include currency exchange, safe deposit boxes and a 24 hour front desk.
The three story Alea Hotel features 24 guestrooms decorated in light tones with brightly colored fabrics and modern wood furnishings. Taxis are available outside the airport and cost approximately 15 EUR. There is also a local bus service. The hotel can arrange airport transfers to and from the hotel (surcharge). The town centre and beach are easily explored on foot. Local buses or taxis can be caught to most major towns and tourist attractions. A hire car or scooter is recommended to explore the island.
Driving directions: From the airport follow the signs out of Paradisi towards Rhodes Town at the tip of the island. Then take the road towards Ialyssos.
