Location. Citywest Hotel and Golf Resort is located by the village of Saggart, Republic of Ireland. It lies 10 kilometres from the centre of Dublin and 15 kilometres from the Mondello Park international motor racing circuit.
Hotel Features. A contemporary five storey hotel built in traditional style, Citywest Hotel and Golf Resort is set in mature parkland with two 18 hole golf courses. The spa has separate areas for men and women, each with its own spa tub, sauna and steam room. There is a hair salon offering a range of beauty treatments and massage is also available. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange and concierge services. The public areas have complimentary high speed Internet access and complimentary parking is available. There are also helicopter landing facilities.
The Hibernian Bistro and Carvery serves Irish and Mediterranean dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients. The Terrace Restaurant offers international specialities with views of the Dublin Mountains and The Lemongrass serves Thai and Asian dishes. Complimentary continental and full Irish breakfasts are provided.
There are two championship 18 hole golf courses in the grounds and the hotel has a health club with an indoor pool and children's pool as well as fitness equipment. Aerobics, Pilates and yoga classes are all available.
Guestrooms. The 892 guestrooms have muted contemporary decor and traditional furnishings including desks. All are equipped with satellite television, coffee and tea making facilities, trouser presses and complimentary high speed Internet access. Bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. Dublin (10 kilometres away) is a city strongly associated with literary figures Joyce, Yeats, Shaw and Beckett to name but a few. A visit to the Writers' Museum is highly recommended.
