A charming hotel set on the main market square in Trondheim city centre, the Scandic Residence Trondheim lies within two blocks of the Royal Residence and Old Town Bridge. This five floor hotel features 66 guestrooms, all of which open onto balconies and include satellite television, wireless Internet access, minibars and hair dryers.

A taxi to the city centre will cost around NOK 500. An airport taxi discount system operates in which shared taxis are available at a fixed price of NOK 250. This service must be booked at least four hours in advance. Blue and white airport buses cost NOK 62 and stop 50 metres from the hotel. Three bus companies serve the city and its surroundings. All bus routes have stops at the crossroads of Munkegaten/Dronningensgate. The tram runs from St Olavs Gate in the city centre to the west side of the city.
