A modern resort hotel set in a large expanse of landscaped gardens overlooking the Santa Eul�lia coastline, the Balaia Plaza is situated 500 metres from the beach and five kilometres from Albufeira. The 76 apartment style guestrooms have blue, claret and yellow decor with modern furnishings, and feature fully equipped kitchenettes and separate sitting areas, opening on to large balconies with sea views. All guestrooms include air conditioning, satellite television, safes, direct dial telephones, Internet connections, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
After a day on the beach opposite, guests can head off for a soothing massage or sauna at the health club. An indoor pool is complemented by a large outdoor freeform pool and children's pool, and the hotel also has a playground. Large sun terraces and gardens surround the hotel, with a tennis court and multi sport court available for sports fans. Guests can dine at the Sabores Do Mundo restaurant, featuring contemporary design and a sushi bar and serving international specialities. Snacks can be purchased from the poolside snack bar. There is a weekly barbeque in the summer months and the large lounge bar hosts nightly entertainment. Cars and bicycles can be hired, and the hotel operates a shuttle service to Albufeira four times daily. Excursions can be booked at the 24 hour reception, where staff can help with tourist enquiries. The sandbank islands at Olhos de agua are two kilometres away, and central Albufeira is five kilometres away. Faro Airport is 35 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 35 minutes.
